Kenya pays higher premiums for November oil supplies

Nairobi, 24 September (Argus) — Kenya is buying from domestic marketer Gulf Energy 1.2mn bl of Abu Dhabi Murban crude for the country's Mombasa refinery for delivery in November.

Gulf Energy won the tender to supply two 600,000 bl Murban cargoes, offering a $0.418/bl premium to the Adnoc official formula price on a cfr basis for the first cargo for 12-14 November delivery. It offered a $0.455/bl premium to supply the second cargo, due for 23-25 November delivery. The latest price is up from premiums for two October Murban cargoes, supplied by fellow domestic marketer Kenol at premiums of $0.345/bl and $0.386/bl. Kenyan marketer Gapco won the latest oil products tenders for a cargo each of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel for delivery to the Kipevu oil terminal in Mombasa.

UK’s Teesside PX to resume on 25 September

London, 23 September (Argus) — Natural gas deliveries to the Teesside PX terminal have stopped for offshore maintenance, the operator said today, adding that receipts are expected to resume on 25 September. Deliveries to the terminal stopped at around 08:45 BST (07:45 GMT) yesterday.

Flow rates at BP's Teesside terminal fell from 19.4mn m³/d on 21 September to around 18.2mn m³/d yesterday, and averaged 17.5mn m³/d in the first quarter of today's gas day.
